Apex Wraps Up Active College Recruiting Season

Recruiting teams from both the Jacksonville and Mid-Atlantic divisions reported a busy fall, visiting a total of seven campuses to represent Apex and meet with students interested in joining the BeLit family.

Over the past three months, the Jacksonville team attended an event for the first time at Florida Atlantic University (FAU), began a second year of recruiting at Georgia Southern University (GSU), and continued to build on almost a decade of relationship-building at University of Florida (UF) and University of North Florida (UNF).

“The best part is that as we continue our involvement, students are becoming more familiar with us,” explains Davor Bozic, who has been very involved with on-campus recruiting and other events for the past few years. In addition to Dalton Dixon, Davor’s team included Summer Simmons and Garrett Rosenthal, both of whom came to Apex through career fairs and college recruiting efforts. “We are building relationships every time we go,” says Davor. “Every handshake is one more connection we’re making.”

The Mid-Atlantic team is also finding value in time spent on campus. This fall, Fadeel Ramadan, Anthony Gang, and Brian Cave covered events at Johns Hopkins, the University of Maryland, and George Mason University. Fadeel says he enjoys meeting with students and learning more about their interests, experiences, and how they might be a good fit for the company. Having first learned about Apex at a career fair himself, he understands the importance of being present on campus to meet with the best and brightest.

“I think it’s also helpful to get younger staff involved in the recruiting process,” says Fadeel, who first met Anthony at a Virginia Tech career fair and enjoyed having him on the Apex team for this season’s events. “We get good questions from students because they feel more comfortable.”

Anthony says he enjoyed the opportunity to be involved. “It felt natural and it was fun,” he says. “I’d love to do more and grow in this area. I think it’s beneficial for a recent graduate to go back and relate to students.”

“Recruiting is a great opportunity for our up and coming teammates to get involved and have a direct influence on the candidates we are bringing on board,” says Apex President Mike Kozlowski. “We love going back to the schools where we have built great relationships, and we also look forward to getting involved at more universities as we expand our operations into new markets.”
